Outline tool hasn’t worked for months. I purchased all versions. All the same. No outline, lines are blurry. Really wish they would fix the problems. I really use to enjoy using their apps

This the one of the best Drawing apps I’ve ever used and been using it for years now for my drawings. It’s super simple to understand and just real fun to use in general. Although right now there’s a glitch thats making the lines blurry every time I import something from my library and the more I import the drawing back into the app to fix a mistake the blurrier the lines get. Please Devs if you see this review please update and fix this glitch. Other than that though this app is super perfect just hope they fix this glitch.

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE, LOOOOVE THIS APP!!!!

It’s got a lot going for it, even though it’s essentially a two layer graphics tool. It has limited tools, but can produce great results with planning and patience.

There are different flavors of photo editors out there and this is my favorite for getting creative with images, adding text, or blurring out backgrounds or unwanted objects etc. I originally discovered this app in search of something I could blur and or smudge things out with like on Photoshop. It was exactly what I was looking for plus some. I went pro pretty soon after trying it. I think it came in a bundle for a good price with like 2 or 3 other apps that I honestly barely ever used. Im not sure if I even still have those. I use the stock iPhone editor for enhancements and making photos look nice. But when I want to get creative, I have/had like 9 other apps I have tried and could use, but this is the one I always end up using. The rest are a waste of space for real. I would (and do) recommend this app to anyone looking to draw on a photo, make illustrator or photoshop like changes, blur or censor something, or add creative text or any other creative touch within this apps ability. If this app is ever abandoned and becomes obsolete, I will be very unhappy. Unhappy because I know of no good alternative and I will miss the fill textures/patterns.

I’ve had you doodle for years you can print comments on pictures pretty darn quick or I can enhance it. Add to it in all kinds of ways. Great app

This app is good for everything, from memes to album covers! It also lets me crop pics to be able to fit on cover photos without rich old white men saying it’s not a big enough file.

This app remains my go to source for creating collages and annotating images.

[ALERT TO THE DEVELOPER] i don’t know what could have happened, but you doodle pro refused to open on my iPhone 13 just now. my most previous use was about 6 months ago. it seems to be working as expected after a quick delete/re-install. so, i thought i’d mention it here for the benefit of other users who might experience the issue & to let you know, as well. i’ve not changed my rating nor my prior review & i probably never will. i am grateful for your continued work & loyalty to your app store customers. thank you & namaste🙏🏻 someone showed me you doodle! i bought my ipad pro & apple pencil in 2018 after just a few months of playing with the app on my phone. seriously, i was the kid that nearly failed art classes growing up. 5 yrs with this app plus the addition of a dslr & i feel like i can legitimately legitimately call myself a “graphic artist”. “pro” tip for everyone struggling with having only 2 layers: build all your little pieces individually, save them to your sketchbook, & then layer them into your final product. i wish i could post some examples of my work here in my review. i will always recommend you doodle to anyone that will listen!

I originally tried the plus version April 13, 2015 and when I saw the Pro version I immediately bought it. I do EVERYTHING on this and what it doesn’t have there is a work around. I don’t think there is a mask option(if so dev tell me where), but I work around it. I do large banner design to fiber laser cuts on this thing. I am telling you look at the reviews 4.8 1.6k reviews. Anyone below a 5-star rating doesn’t know graphic design. Also, sans the mask feature there is not background remover. But with the new iPhone you don’t need it anyway because it does it for you. I use this more than Adobe and Corel combined. I can design something faster then someone even taking out their laptop. So intuitive, just play with it. I have been doing graphic design since computers could do them in the 90’s and you will not be disappointed with this product. And these guys are constantly upgrading the app, they just don’t let it go like an old book on the shelf hoping new people will read it, they add chapters to the book all the time. Look at their versions they have made better. I notice something new or improved all the time. Thanks guys you will always have loyal fans like me. And YOU OWN IT FOR LIFE, NO SUBSCRIPTIONS like these other greedy app makers. They rely on more buys, so do it you will not be disappointed I promise.

This app has been my go-to design app for years. Since I'm more of a copy person, it's great to be able to add quick and easy design elements to give my designers an idea of what I'm actually looking for on their end. It's also a great way to jazz up social media posts, learn the basic elements of more complex design tools, and create stickers for various promotions. It integrates with just about any other media or photo app you need. If you need an intuitive app with a lot of options under the hood, check this out.

I've used this app a few times / I really don't know how to do many of the applications, but the ones I've used I like / Ralph I want to tell you that I'm just discovering the nuances of color by decreasing the intensity therefore I can melt colors together and I'm very happy about that /DOBBY / Ralph i’ve been using the app a lot and I kind of wish I could manipulate photos before putting them into the application with the paint program but I don’t know whether the program can do it or I just don’t know / RalphWhen you reach a certain number in the color chart, my question is, can you save that number and be able to go back to it instantly and do that with every color combination that you run into then it becomes more of a pallet that you could use at least for me but I enjoy this program. I’m doing my Christmas card right now.

I love this app! I first got it in 2005 and I use it daily. I use it for many different things. It becomes my notepad when I’m at work. I can take a picture and add arrows, text, circles or whatever needed and then put the photo in an email and send it off. That is a big help when I am explaining something to my boss. I can also edit photos using layers to insert what I’m wanting the viewer to see. If I could add anything it would be the addition of one more layer. This is my most used app daily and all time. Definitely worth giving it a try if you like editing.

If you like to draw, doodle, or design then YouDoodle is simply the best app for the iPhone. It’s easy and it’s quite powerful. I expect any drawing editor as extensive as You Doodle can be challenging to begin with. But there’s plenty you can do without knowing anything because it’s quite intuitive.

I’ve been using (addicted to) this app since it came out. Why? 1. Jeff, the Developer, is so responsive to questions. I feel as if I know him, we’ve chatted so many times. 2. Jeff is constantly improving, updating and tweaking the inner workings of this app. 3. I can do ANYTHING in this app, including: -landscape construction -quilt design -greeting card design (I use photos of person & make collage & send) -building design -I save LOTS of pics & when I need to clear some space, I put related groups on YDP pages to save them -Framing photos of family by Googling samples & creating spectacular easily sent pics -using filters, I can adjust photos in many ways -Creating tickets & flyers to advertise my work -many more 4. I use YDP every day, sometimes just to doodle or explore. I learn something new every day. Keep up the good work, Jeff. Your efforts do not go unnoticed.

I have found these so useful as a quick fix when I’m working on a digital piece that they are an essential part of my working toolbox! Some slight issues that I work around, but to have such a full feature drawing app that loads swiftly and does so much that individual parts of my composition may need to have done? I can deal with a few idiosyncrasies. Love this app! Having a foreground and a background and JUST those for layers is actually really helpful.

Update: app is awesome, glad it is just one time fee. I am using it for converting pictures of items on iphone to jpg, the compression is great, photos have decent quality and are 1/10 of the size. I just wish there a batch function, to do many all at once. Good amt of options. Allows me to edit photos which I wanted it for.

I love this app - use it daily but it would be almost perfect if rather than having to save it to your photos if you could just “copy” so you can paste it to an instant message, email, etc that would be awesome!

The app is easy to use, and I love using it to edit pictures or even make corrections to my art on the go. My only issue is sometimes images drop in quality.

Great App!!

I have been using the plus version of you doodle since 2017 and being tired of the countless ads in the plus version I decided to purchase this version and boy was this a great investment. I mainly use you doodle to design NFL team jerseys and as a font sandbox for the countless fonts I find online. The reason why I love this app so much is it’s real easy to use and it’s very user friendly for iPhone users though I recommend using this app on an iPad as you have a bigger screen to work on. Keep up the good work!

This app is absolutely the best app on the market for the price it does everything you would like a small business to do. It does everything you would like a small artist business to do. It does everything eat start up comic business you would like it to do. It does everything a creative child would like it to do. It has everything except for the kind of service you would expect from a great company. If you have a problem you have a problem. The only way to reach them is by E email. And then you wait. Waiting for it can be a day. Wonderful! Wait could be four days or more :-( not so wonderful especially if you’re in production and you’re trying to get something out the door. Not so wonderful frown face :-(. I have a problem I believe very honestly it was caused by this application and two other applications are telling me the same. And I can’t get any answers and so I’m basically stuck I’m stuck and I cannot access my photos major problem I cannot access the recent photos that I need for this project again major problem is the wonderful product terrific product does everything you want to do except offer great service , if your looking for great service may wanna try something else

I use this app pretty much every day and now prefer it over Photoshop. I’ve made professional looking Christmas cards for friends going on 10 years now. Jeff who made the app is great at responding for technical issues. This is the first app that was completely worth the small amount to pay for. There seems to be regular updates and improvements to the app as well. Somethings that goes stale and unattended like many other apps that disappear overtime.

Update 2022: I still love this app! So many amazing tools to use. My request is that more tutorials be made available. I am always trying to come up with new techniques. Thank you Jeff! Original review from a couple years ago: I’ve worked with many graphic apps, big name ones included, and recently discovered You Doodle. There are options and tools available to create what I want to. Easy to navigate, full of so many possibilities of what you can do. I recommend this to anyone who likes to edit photos, design your own images, and wants to have fun doing it. Less complicated than bigger graphic programs, this is an awesome program to have. this app helps your mind grow.

I’ve had this app for about five years now, I bought the full version the second day. and it is still my go-to app. I use it almost daily. I’m continually impressed with the continuous updates. Jeff isn’t sitting around resting on his laurels. I also love the fact that he doesn’t nickel and dime you by charging for ‘upgrades’ with every update. A while back I actually bought a second copy of the app just to send a little extra love his way. This is a solid app and a great buy. Buy it! Now

New features revealed all the time! Very intuitive! Since the above review, I’ve been also using the YG Pro app for kindle. iPhone app is much better.

I love this app. It’s more than an app for me, as I learned a specific style using the tools available and almost my entire portfolio is YouDoodle Pro art.

Waste of money!!! Way too difficult and finding instructions on how to do anything close to impossible!!! Yea nice you find the tutorials they don’t match what’s actually in the app🙄 I want my money back!!!

I have used You Doodle on and off for maybe 4 years. I only bought the Pro version a few weeks ago, but it’s worth it. Although you can unlock all features by watching videos or getting free version, I think it’s worth supporting the creator and getting rid of ads. When I got the Pro app, all my sketchbook pictures, settings and selected colors transferred over. Although this isn’t artificial intelligence (AI) photoshop, it’s better then the built in iOS photo editing. Highly recommend this, whether free of paid.
